The kidnapped girl from Portugal
did everyone hear that numerous pple have reported spotting here in morocco? i think it would be amazing if she is alive and they have started blaming her mom due to lack of leads... i really hope she is alive, that would be a true miracle

The OP said hey're blaming the mother *due* to lack of leads. I think she meant there are very few leads and they are now accusing the mother of foul play -- meaning of murdering her daughter, not of messing with the investigation.

Wow that really does look like her. I know as soon as she disappeared someone thought they had spotted her at a gas station in Morocco. But by the time the police got there it was too late. She was even wearing the same clothes.

a few years ago I studied in spain and was mugged in Barcelona. I went to get my hair done a few days later and the hairdresser asked where it happened and where I was staying. She said, "Are you crazy? We call that 'little Morocco.' Don't you know they kidnap women (mostly blondes) and bring them back to Morocco?!"
I have no idea how credible she was - but she scared the crap out of me - needless to say, I changed where I was staying. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture....

This is what I am wondering too. If they snapped the photo, why not contact the police or question the people in the photo?

The people who took the photo thought it was unusual that this group of people were traveling with a blonde hair, blue eyed little girl and that she resembled Maddy. They thought it was just a coincidence and I believe it took them 25 days before they thought that maybe they should have said something and then brought the photo to the authorities attention.
