Yellow was my favorite color as a child. I had 1970s yellow furniture with some orange and green accessories. So, it works for me.

Im just not a green fan. I am one of those "need to know" and gender specific  decorators. It comes from when I asked for my room to be made pink when my parents were re-doing the house in the early 80s and I came home to a baby blue room because they got the carpet on sale. Im not baby PC.

I know what you mean!! I have pink & lavender rooms my whole life growing up!! I somehow swindled DH into a lavender room when we got married
And I am also NOT a fan of gender neutral! HAD to know if it was a  or  !!

oh no... I'm the opposite all the way!
not that we don't intend to find out, we just don't want anyone else to know my nightmare is opening 30 blue or pink packages with blue or pink gifts inside 
actually the boy items don't bother me that much, but the frilly pink girly stuff gets to be a bit much for my personality... must confess.... it gives me a headache, actually
my bedroom during my childhood was white, spring green and yellow oh, and I was allowed to have both boy toys (trucks, race cars) AND pink barbie stuff.... I like that balance.

I found out the sex of my baby as soon as the amnio results were ready. He did end up with some green clothes and the color looks great on him. I would have been okay with gender neutral stuff, I just wanted to know because I could!
