Geez....I didn't realize how expenisve these tickets were! I think he might have to wait for all the hype to settle down before spending 300 dollars for ONE ticket!!Chat Icon

It's really outrageous, I can't believe some of these prices!!!!!!! Chat Icon

It's getting to the point where you can't even go see a show with your family anymore without having to save up for it!!! Chat Icon

My dad got me & DH tickets to see Little Mermaid on Broadway for Xmas and he paid full value (which was $110 each). I told him that he was crazy.

It is so absurd. Broadway is claiming poverty and that their theaters are empty- but that is because there are a lot of us who don't want to spend $400 on an evenings entertainment these days. Chat Icon And that is without dinner.

Re: The Little Mermaid on Broadway

The reason tickets are so expensive is because it costs a butt load of money to produce these shows. It is ridiculous how Broadway has become all about spectacle over substance. What happened to having a bare bones stage and actually telling a story?!?

Sorry, as someone who has dreamed of being on Broadway almost all her life the state of it just makes me boil!!!

I know. I really want to see it, but am not paying that much. I can usually get discounted tix for shows through work but they are not discounting Little mermaid.

Not magic, but they are using heelies (sp ?). The shoes with wheels in the heels. I have heard that it is pretty effective.

I am not sure when it is next, but they have a "kids week on Broadway" where a child gets in free with an adult. You might want to look into that.

I know it's rediculous. My BIL wanted to take my daughter, but the tickets were $180 a peice for mezz. And for all of us it would of cost a lot. It's a new show replacing Beuty and the Beast. I figure wait a year the prices will come down a bit.

Re: The Little Mermaid on Broadway

Hi, I don't know what the section is called, my Mom has the actual tickets.

It is not the first section down front, it is the one behind it. We got the first row there, on the aisle. We are going the first week in Feb.

As far as the swimmimg, if you look on Disney On Broadway, you can see video clips. We can't wait!!
