Someone started something like this awhile ago. Can you help me do this but for a lot less? We have a good size Ikea rectangular kitchen table with seating for 4 in our kitchen. But we have a gally kitchen and we want something a bit more refined so we both agreed upon something like this. We rarely eat in the kitchen anyway, so the space is not used. Help! We're looking for a small round table with tablecloth, glass top and nice upholstered or covered chairs. Very bistro-esque, I guess.

My mom has the dining chair covers like that, they are from Target.

I think Target sells the glass top for the round tables too.

If you don't care what the base looks like, then get any inexpensive 36 inch round table and glass top. The chairs can be any kind of semi high back and then get the fabric chair covers and table cloth. I would try jc penny's, target, or wallmart, and then BB&B for the fabric.

We too bought slip covers like that for dining room chairs from Target. The chairs I lucked out a neighbor was selling them at a garage sale. If you know that you're going to slip cover them anyway check garage sales or Salvation Army for the chairs. Good luck!

Thanks for the ideas. The table is from a catalog and is super cheap, but the other stuff isn't. Guess it's a Target trip soon!

Check Bed, Bath and Beyond...you should be able to get everything you need for a TON cheaper.
