The Man at the Diner.
I had a meeting tonight, so DH took the kids to the diner. A guy sitting a few tables down, walked over to DH. He said "I just wanted to congratulate you on having the most well behaved children I've ever seen."
Do you think maybe he picked up the wrong kids at daycare & switched them back before I got home?
In other daycare news, no one got hurt in Pre-School or Toddlers today! As Maddie said "And I didn't hit Tommasino or Kyle today!"

Re: The Man at the Diner.
I read the first paragraph and was hit with pangs of jealousy - God Bless! Even if it was just for today's dinner, God Bless. You have to enjoy those moments when they happen (or your DH in this case)
LOL @ the preschool report. My son is in preschool and there's always some story to tell. Either he's telling me about someone peeing in his pants or I overhear another boy telling his Mom about how my son got a time out or this one did this to that one...its endless, isnt it?

Re: The Man at the Diner.
YAYYY !!!! Im not surprised Barbara, they were SO well behaved at the GTG last weekend too, eating so nicely as my boys REFUSED to eat (and then I left it there hoping theyd decide to eat and it was cleaned up for us, so then I thought "Great, now they think I dont even clean up after my kids"
My son John Anthony (3 1/2) is quite the handful at home, and at school, they claim he's the best behaved in the class... I wonder if they just say that Ive walked in at several different times (Its a full day nursery and we can pick them up any time) and he was always/is REALLY well behaved .
So they CAN shock us I guess and hats off to daddy for taking them to the diner alone, my hubby would make every excuse NOt to
I felt the same way you do last year on our DRIVE yes DRIVE to Disney, we kept turning around in the car, waiting for a volcano to explode somewhere and they were truly pleasant at 2 1/2, and 14months. We couldnt beleive our eyes and ears, especially after driving all that, we totally anticpated tantrums the whole way down....
