The movie-The Jacket
Okay the other night DH rents this horror. A gulf war vet is put in a straight jacket and stuck in a drawer as his therapy. I don't know if I even understood the ending. Did anyone see it?

I saw the previews and it looked like a good movie. I don't think anyone knows how to make scary movies anymore.

it was a psychological thiller, DH loved it. Of course I had too much pride to ask him questions about it.

was he alive or dead? I just did not understand. When he was in the jacket did he see into the future and just imagine that he was with Keira Knightly?

When he was in the jacket he was able to actually go into the future whether it was all in his mind or in actuality (that is up to you the audience to decide).
But either way he dies in his life as in pre-jacket

so when he was in the army and shot, is he really dead then and everything was made up after that?

NO i think that he wasn't dead when he got shot...
I think he died in the asylum in the jacket

okay so he was living when he was hitch hiking, but died while jackie was still a kid. he saw into the future to make jackie's life better? thanks

Well either way he did died in the jacket that last time going in.
BUT i guess that is up to you if he was able to time travel or not.
I do not believe that whole future part was in fact real but rather in his mind.
The whole seizure part was not consistent either...

I just do not get how he knew that the ECT thing would work and that he was having seizures.
Since the only way SHE knew was by him telling her...But they never tell you actually HOW HE KNEW!
