The Office Last Night...
I thought it was cute more than it was funny.
Since I find myself posting too negatively about my favorite tv shows, will instead post this article.
It talks about how this season has been pretty weak so far..
Article on The Office
I am sooo looking forward to it going back to 30 minutes!
ETA: And I TOTALLY agree with this line in the article: "A newly bestubbled, technobabbling Ryan is hogging screen time, and it's ruining the show."

Yeah, I am not loving it either as an hour. I actually fell asleep last night during the 2nd half of the show.

Re: The Office Last Night...
I sat there thinking how they could have done so many things to make Pam and Jims stay at Dwights farm even funnier..
The Ryan babbling definitely IS getting old...he is better off as a writer for the show as opposed to an actor...
And I hate that I am saying this....but I wanted Jim and Pam to get together for so long and now that they are it feels like something is lacking, lol...but i do like them together. Maybe they just need to spice things up??!!

Yeah, not huge fan of the 1hr. episodes. I don't think there were any "laugh out loud" moments last night. But I must confess, I teared up when Jim went rushing in to kiss Pam!

Re: The Office Last Night...
See I am the opposite. I love this season. I LOVE seeing Jim and Pam happy together, but I also love that the show can revolve around the lives of everyone in the office. I think this is going to be Michaels season to go through a transformation, much like last season was Pams

Re: The Office Last Night...
They're handling the Jim and Pam thing better than I expected. They're just so cute together, and I love that they can't help but be sweet to Dwight sometimes.
I think last night was the last of the hour-long episodes -- at least I hope so.

Re: The Office Last Night...
I thought the beginning of it was promising when he did the Devil Wears prada thing, but I have to agree that this is a weaker season.
Maybe going back to the half hour episodes will be better....I can't get enough of Pam & Jim though.
I feel like for episodes this long they could be doing so much more with the different story lines. Someone said to me recently "It's like the show itself is too in on it's own joke."
I agree with that.

I couldn't agree more with your three points!!
Ryan has to go!! He's not funny at all!!!
And I, too, wanted P&J to get together and now Im like "eh, boring".
The Daryl/Kelly storyline has so much potential but last night it was just uncomfortable!

Re: The Office Last Night...
it will be better when its back to a half hour, which is next week.
Steve Carrel was on the radio this morning and said that one of the future episodes (he wrote) is about Michael being the "man vs. wild" guy - like living out in the wilderness - that should be hilarious!
i love Andy trying to score with Angela

And Jim, with the "I'm in love with Italian food"- I gushed. I am also secretly in love with him, but mostly because he is so much like my DH.

Re: The Office Last Night...
I agree with all the negative criticism. Something really changed this season. I've barely laughed out loud, whereas last season I was dying. Just because it's an hour really shouldn't effect it in such a bad way. This is (was) my 100% favorite TV show.
