The old wives tale confirmed my suspicions...
Well this morning i decided to try out this old wives tale that my cousin told me about.
"Hold a pendant over your hand. If the necklace swings back and forth, you're having a boy. If it is more of a circular motion, then it's a girl. This can also be done by suspending a ring on a string above your belly."
I used a needle and a piece of thread and I swear ladies the ring was going in a circular motion over my belly. I did it several times b/c I thought I was moving it but I wasnt. I was very very still I even showed DH and he was amazed. I have been thinking all along that I am having a girl and so does DH so could this be true?

You never know maybe that old wives tale has some truth.
Everybody who saw me said I was having a boy because I was carrying high and that is an old wives tale. And guess what I am having a so you never know.

I remember doing it before being PG. It said I would have a boy first... true.
Works also with my mom, grandmother and co-workers.
We did it with the thread and needle in the palm of the left hand. Or you can do it with a chain and gold pendant.

It happened with my cousin too. It confirmed the right sex with both of pregnancies.

My Aunt...who is a Labor and Delivery nurse SWEARS by this. She has done it so many times to her patients, and also she does it to women BEFORE they get preggo (like me), she has been wrong ONCE! and has probobly done it HUNDREDS of times!
She told me I was to have in order a girl, girl, then boy. I am 31 already, can't imgine i will have three, but...we will see if it's true. That would mean the one I am carrying now is a girl.
PS..she does the needle on the wrist on thread over the wrist!

My family swears by this as well. I do it about 100x a week, just to see if it changes. Im crazy. Also, if you do it over a mans hand, or his belly, it doesnt move at all. Or it jumps, then stops moving, but no back and forth or cicular motion. It is the coolest thing!
