One of my favorite books ever.
If you get a chance, see the Starz miniseries they made of it. It REALLY did the book justice, and I don't say that often! It was on the Netflix that you get on your TV, but I'm not sure if it is anymore.

One of my favorites too! It gets more engrossing as it goes on. I couldn't believe it was a Ken Follet book-so different from his earlier spy books. I lent my copy to almost everyone in my family and its now all dog eared. I picked up the sequel a few yrs back but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe i should try again. Thanks for the reminder.

I could not put it down- and I never would have read it on my own because it just didn't interest me. My book club chose it.

I loved this book too! And I loved the fact that it took me at least 3 weeks to finish it! I read very fast so it was nice to be able to hold onto something for a while.
