The Place Furniture (farmingdale or carle place)
Has anyone bought furniture from them? If so, how was your overall experience with them.
Dh and I found furniture their yesterday that we really love, but after doing a search on them, I found several complaints about them, so now I am hesitant to order my furniture from them.
We really love this furniture - what would you do? Still buy it and hope for the best or look else where.

We purchased our bedroom set from them in 2005 & had a great experience..From the time of sale until delivery.
Just recently, DH & I got our dining room set there. We looked all over & that was the best deal we found. No problems at all

we have purchased numerous things from them, so have my parents and aunt and uncle.
no problems to report.

My SIL ordered a table and buffet from them. It was damaged-they replaced it with a new, still damaged set. She asked for a refuind and promptly received it. Inspect carefully when you buy but if you do have a problem they seem to have good cust. svc

We bought a chair from them and my sister bought a dining room set from them. Neither of us had any problems.

A friend of mine told me do not go there.
I googled the place and a bunch of things came up, about them getting sued, etc.
Needless to say, i didnt want to take any chances and shop there. That was 4 years ago though so I dont know now.

We bought our china cabinet there and had no problem with the quality of the funiture or the delivery - Everything was fine

I bought from the one in Farmingdale after fighting with the salesperson in Carle Place.
Service was excellent and my couch came in 3 weeks early.
I would defintely buy from them again.

We bought our bedroom set from them with slight aggravation, I cant remember the details at the moment, but I remember saying to DH that for the price, it was worth the annoyance.
