The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
For so many of our ladies....
Metsgirl07- I am again, so very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine
It made me realize again just how hard it is and what a miracle it is to have a baby. I suffered a loss before my DD was born and was so terrified the whole pregnancy after. I forget how scary it is after that BFP.
Sending so many prayers today that my heart aches....

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
My heart breaks for all of these ladies
I was just telling DH last night that I feel like all of the joy & innocence has been taken out of pregnancy for me. With DD, I was nervous about miscarrying because I had some spotting early on, but it was nothing like the fear I had with my second pregnancy. I knew that miscarriages happened, but I was so unaware of how common they really are. Now that I know & especially since I did end up miscarrying I feel like I will always be terrified when I do get pregnant again. It's really sad.

It's awful, isn't it? I remember getting my BFP after my miscarriage and we weren't even excited. It was like, oh, lets just see this time.

I keep thinking the same thing. I can't wait to get another BFP, but I KNOW that I won't be able to relax at all knowing something can go wrong at any time.
for all the ladies (and gents!) over there, as well as the ones here.

I was nervous the first time, and then I miscarried. I know that when I get a BFP again I will be terrified. I had my RE draw the recurrent miscarriage panel, even though it only happened once - I want to know NOW if I have an issue, not wait to see if it happens again.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
hi girls.... I haven't posted on this board for a while... I'm now 19 weeks preggo...
I must say that all of the extremely horrible news has made me even more anxious than before. I used to think once I passed the first trimester, I could relax.... but after several weeks of 2nd trimester miscarriage posts, I feel there is no end to the anxiety.
My level II is tuesday, and I'm no longer even excited... I'm anxious that they might find a growth defect I'm also now paranoid about having an incompetent cervix
I feel so extremely sad for the families that lost their little ones I pretty much feel I shouldn't even discuss my concerns becuase they're so trivial in comparison to what they had to endure....
better days must be ahead for the TTC, pregnancy, and infertility boards.....

i couldn't have said it better myself. the worry never goes away, and hearing all these sad stories makes it so much more real and close to home.
i pray for all of you ladies on the TTC and IF boards to get your BFPs and have happy, healthy, easy pregnancies.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
I cant imagine to feel what these ladies may feel. I feel so bad and my heart breaks for all of them. When I got pregnant with DD it was like I didnt even think about miscarriage and now I feel like thats all I have heard in the past few months and its terrible. I am a strong believer of everything happens for a reason and you need to think positive.

I have to say I have been trying for such a long time and I am so anxious for my BFP but at the same time DH and I were just discussing how unbelievably difficult it would be to have a miscarriage. Two different couples friends of ours(the only ones of our friends with kids) both had miscarriages first. It seems like it's all too common. I know that once I get my BFP I will be a nervous wreck throughout my pregnancy. for all of you who have been through this before and for those of you on the pg board.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
Having my miscarriage after going through IVF was devestating for my husband and I. It's still a very fresh wound as it was only 4 weeks ago. I know should I get another BFP this upcoming cycle, that we will worry, and I will worry my entire pregnancy. I had no intention of posting my BFP the last time until well into my 2nd trimester, and I plan on doing the same next time.
It's so heartbreaking, nobody should ever have to go through a loss. It really makes me question my faith.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
It is so so scary. Like I said on the other post. If I have a successful IUI, we will get a BFP just days before what should have been a due date for the baby we lost. (May 30th). I know it will be so scary for us we get a BFP around that time and totally devasting if we get a BFN as well. All in All, the end of May is sure to be an emotional train wreck for us.
I also feel like the innonnce of pregnancy has been robbed from me. That is just so sad. I shouldn't have to be so scared and nervous but I will be.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
I agree, the pregnancy board makes me sad and anxious. I am freaking at every twinge and cramp lately.
I know that miscarriages are common and the thought of one popped into my mind several times especially with my bleeding earlier on in the pregnancy.
Life is just so unfair sometimes. I feel as if the fun of pregnancy is taken out for these ladies next time. It's supposted to be an enjoyable experience and now they will be nervous.
My prayers are with them all.

Re: The pregnacy board is making me so sad...
I couldn't agree more with all the sentiments posted here.
Getting PG is hard enough, and to have deal with it ending in such a devastating way is the most unfair thing.
Pregnancy is supposed to be a celebration for the life that is growing inside you, but I really can't blame all of these women for being so anxious and skeptical when MCs are so common.
My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to those of you who have experienced this.
I wish nothing but healthy and happy pregnancies for us all.

I just had 2 chemical pregnancies in a row. I love how chemical pregnancy is just a nice way of saying very early miscarriage. After going through this, I am sure I will be a wreck when I finally get one to stick.

OMG! Your last thoughts should be on whether you worried us or made us upset- that was never my intent on this post to start with! I am just amazed at how innocent I was going into pregnancy the first time and then suffered a loss as well. Having been through it makes me even sadder for you and all the other ladies on there.
But again, please don't feel badly about your post in the slightest. Most of us who posted here had a loss or knew someone close to us who did- it's that loss of innocence that is so sad.

Deanna, please don't feel this way. We are all so sorry for you and I think there have been a number of miscarriages that have made us think that it's just too common.
