The Saddest Thing I've Ever Seen
I can't believe I am looking at a picture of teaching a child to hate.

lovely....just lovely. I hate seeing things like that...what does that child know about marriage and love aside from what her idiot (and I only call them idiots for the way they are USING their child to push their agenda) parents have taught her

Re: The Saddest Thing I've Ever Seen
While I agree that a child shouldn't be holding signs like this one simply because they don't really understand the meaning behind them, being opposed to gay marriages does not equal "hate".

I agree with this. But to me, it is a separation of church and state. Being opposed to gay marriage is a RELIGIOUS issue

I totally agree, my sister is opposed to gay marriages and doesnt have a hateful bone in her body.

Re: The Saddest Thing I've Ever Seen
I saw kids holding signs like that every single day for the past 2 weeks during my commute. The parents take their kids outside to make political statements before and after school. It's really upsetting.

Re: The Saddest Thing I've Ever Seen
Is this kid even old enough to have asked her parents questions that would lead them to explain things about gay marriage and/or homosexuality? I know kids can be very young when they want to know but I have the feeling that the parents' opinions were shoved down this kid's throat.
I only hope that if anyone at school tries to tell my son about such hatred, he will give me the chance to correct that message and tell him how I feel.
