These sound good, think I'll try them thanks! On a side note, was reading the last entry on your blog about the garlic knot Christmas tree. I pinned the recipe on Pinterest, and was planning to do what you said, substitute the cream cheese with ricotta. Cream cheese just seemed like an odd combo. Good to know it works with the ricotta!

I agree, I wasn't feeling the cream cheese at all. The ricotta worked nicely and I think the flavor works much better with pesto and mozzarella. Enjoy.
