The straw that broke my back (now a baptism saga)
If you've been following our fun....... you'll recall that our apt has flooded 3 times, our close date on our new place keeps getting put off, and the doctor tells me to relax so i don't go into labor. So simple. 
Today (after 3 weeks of my car in the shop) I am finally called and told it's ready!!!!!!  I get into my car to go home and there is a mark on my windshield from where a rock must've hit it.  They say they can work on it if I just leave it with them. (FOR LONGER, OH NO!) So I'm a bit perturbed and driving to our real estate lawyer. Somehow all the paperwork from the mortgage place has different loan amounts.  The lawyer is talking to this person, then that person, etc.
Then my phone rings while I'm at the lawyers office. It's our church. They won't do the baby's baptism because they have a new pastor and too much is going on to bother him with. W T F IS THAT?????? This is the church we have belonged to since we came to Long Island a few years ago. We got married there. We wanted our child baptised there. It's too much to ask the new pastor to do the baptism in OCTOBER????????????
The stress became too much and I broke down in the lawyer's office. I left there crying and continued crying the first few hours of my work day. (I work at 4pm) It has become too much for me. Why are things so difficult?!?! I just need hugs.

Sorry you had a trying day, hope today is better
BTW- last year when we were driving down to the shore a rock on the highway cracked our windshield.
Our insurance company sent someone to our house to fix the windshield. ( I am not sure if you have glass insurance or not but if you do, you may be able to have everything taken care of from home)

I"m sorry! deep breaths and lots of to you. What kind of church does that anyway? that's absurd - you would think they would WANT AND WELCOME a new member into their faith hang in there

I would personally speak with the new pastor, I'm sure if he heard it from you, he'd be glad to do the baptism.

Tomorrow starts a new week. Maybe we'll get a close date on the new place! I'm going to start running around to churches! Anything to stop smelling the moldy apt.
