The Unfit Mothers Club
I'm starting today. I'm losing weight this year.
It's Monday. It's the beginning of a New Year (because I ate like I was going to the chair this weekend, we're pretending 2011 started today).
I have no excuse for being this heavy. I can't say I have baby weight on me with a 7 & 9 year old. The food is love thing works well for wrinkles but I've reached maximum capacity.
Who wants in?

I am so in.
After I had DS #2 I lost 48lbs (18lbs was preggo weight and the rest was my own) but in the 6 months that he's been born I have gained about 10 of it back. Most during the holidays.
I am so ready to finally be at a healthy weight and feel good about myself. I was feeling so great after DS was born. So motivated but then I just got into a rut.

Me. I'm so fat it's depressing, which leads me to want to eat....not a good cycle. I MUST get into better shape this year, it's no longer an option to pretend it's not an issue any more.

I am in. I am starting today. Eating better and getting on my treadmill 6 days a week, no excuses. As soon as Emilia goes in for a nap, I am hitting the treadmill.

I am new to this board, but count me in. I had an elliptical delivered today and goshdarnit I plan on using it! And not making it into a clothing rack like everyone keeps saying!

I'm in - I actually started the day after Thanksgiving because I had 10 extra friends from last Christmas Holiday that never left.... down 10 w/ new WW plan, but many more to go... ordered the new Firm system...Just need to do it!

My new motto is "40 to 40".... Meaning I want to lose 40 lbs before I am 40 (which is 18 months away). I know I can do it, I just need the motivation along the way!

We can do this ladies!!
I just worked out for 45 minutes. I haven't worked out in YEARS!! Needless to say I am sweating and breathing like a beast but I feel good.
I don't have any work out videos but I used what on demand had. They had this Bollywood video. I just tried it. Very fun.
My complex has a free gym I am going to try to get down there on the weekends and once DS starts to feel better I am going to start walking.
I am actually excited!!

I'm in too!!! I really don't have weight to lose, but I'm out of shape and I don't eat well. I really need to start exercising everyday, taking my vitamins and be on a healthier diet.

I'm tired of this weight holding me back from enjoying life.
I'm tired of being mortified at the beach and pool and not having fun when I take my son there during the summer.

I'm in. My eating habits are horrible. I live on fast food and I am addicted to diet soda. The last time I excercised was...I can't even remember.
I have a check up tomorrow and I am ready for a fresh start.

I am IN. I lost all of my baby weight from Chase, but I had gained 45lbs before getting pregnant from a medication I was on and have yet to lose that I signed up for WW online today. I chuckled a little at how slowly their website was working when I imagined all the other men and women out there entering their credit card #s at the very same moment as me Hopefully in a couple of weeks when they all fall off the wagon, I'll still be on and the website will go a little faster

I have been sidelined since the car accident with a cracked fibula and two herniated discs...and now God knows what is wrong with my hip....
do trainers work around injuries?? I gotta get my jelly in motion.

Day 2 Ok so I went walking yesterday, cut my calories for lunch by opting for a salad & am truly working on not drinking calories (Newflash: Starbucks stock to plummet in new year!).
When I can answer the question "Are you happy when you try on clothes?" I think I'm at my goal.
We need to be healthy role models for our children. Sitting on a couch or on the computer is not going to be my kids' memory of me.
We can do this!

Walked last night (B my legs and arms are sore lol).
Tonight I plan on taking a Zumba class.
I've cut my breakfast portion and did not put sugar in my coffee. Will have a yogurt/apple for lunch with a glass of water.
I vacuumed the whole house too - that counts as exercise right
