DAY 2:
I had 2eggwhites with salsa and a half of wheat bagel for breakfast. Went to the gym for almost two hours & did abs, legs, and interval training on the treadmill.

Ate lunch in the car while the kids ate theirs. I had a fiber bar, apple and a drinkable yogurt. (I also ate about 2 servings of the kids goldfish!!!Chat Icon )

I haven't had my coffee yet, which usually curbs my appetite a bit. I'm making chocolate chip pancakes for the week now and so far haven't tried any. I think my problem is I need to learn WHAT to eat. I feel like either I'm eating everything or nothing.Chat Icon

I'm in.. but I'm afraid I'm just going to eff it up.. again.

Day 1 (yesterday): Skinny Vanilla Latte for breakfast - a little PB & low sugar J on good bread for late snack. I made everyone Tuscan chicken for dinner.. but I had a seasoned broiled chicken breast instead. I didn't really exercise though... Chat Icon

Day 2: Started out with a cup of Cheerios with skim milk and no sugar. Having Sushi for lunch.. but it's a california roll and a tuna roll without mayo.. so it's not bad. THE PLAN is to get in some exercise tonight if I can leave here before 7! Burritos for dinner with low fat ground turkey and fat free re-fried beans. I'll go easy on the sour cream and heavy on the tomatoes!

So far this year I've been eating less, which is a start. Not perfect, but an improvement.

Yesterday I shoveled snow for 30 mins. We have a huge pile of snow still next to our driveway which I keep hitting when I pull in and out so I cut that in about half and moved it onto the lawn.

Today I plan on riding the exercise bike for at least a half an hour once we get done with homework. Need to get a DVD ready to keep me distracted, otherwise about 5 mins in I get bored and walk away. Chat Icon

day 2 worked out for 45 min.

Had special K cereal for breakfast w. skim milk.

Ate a small lunch at the table instead of in front of the computer.

One thing I wanted to add - as a mom, I don't use the word "diet". I think saying you are trying to be healthier is the way to go.

If I can incorporate them into exercising - even better.

I ran on the tm yesterday for 30minutes and ate very healthey
today I ate healthy also but no treadmill as of yet becaue my legs hurt so bad this morning and now my DD is on it but maybe when she is done I will go on

Ate pretty well today - much less than usual and drank a good amount of water.

Had wanted to go to Zumba but didn't make it so I headed to the gym and did 45 minutes on the treadmill (did some interval training) and then an additional 20 on the elliptical.

This is what I say at home too. My mother really did a number on me with the word "diet."

Didn't do so well yesterday, but doing better so far today. I'm feeling more in the "the mode."

I'm just trying to steer clear of anything white and also cookies/cakes, which is huge for me. I could eat sweets all day and never eat real food.

I ate ok yesterday - walked a lot. Tried to run but couldn't.Chat Icon Chat Icon

I do think that running is the fastest way to see results.

My legs are sore today but I'm going with my new theory - sore legs trumps a fat azz.

DH has been cooking healthier options which is great for me but bad for the little boy who is a picky eater.

DAY 3:
Didn't go to the gym at all and ate just okay. I did drink a ton of water though.

DAY 4:
Just had slimfast shake for breakfast and packing healthy snacks/lunch to eat in the car after the gym.

Did abs, back, and bi-ceps along with interval training on the treadmill. Ran about 15 minutes longer than usual because I was watching the Jersey Shore marathonChat Icon I had brown rice with stirfry peppers, a yogurt and a special K bar since breakfast.

I'm making chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies with the kids now and it's going to be real hard to resist them. Chat Icon

Not sure what to make for dinner?????

Slacking for the past 2 days. Some SOB sent out office boxes of gourmet popcorn. Yeah. I thought right, how enticing can gourmet popcorn be, right? wrong. IT IS TO DIE FOR. Scores of chocolate flavored popcorn - different flavors which I cannot go into lest you all run out & get it.

So I'm starting TOMORROW. No, not Monday. This is about every day.

Come on. Join me. Don't wait until Monday. Back on the wagon!

I'm in too, just saw this thread now. I started last Sunday. Did Zumba on Tuesday & Thursday and I LOVE it!! Joined a weight loss challenge and went and weighed in at WW. Whew please god I can't take being fat anymore!

The best thing today was I make chocolate chip cookies for the kids tonight and didn't eat ANY! That is huge for me:)

Actually took the new firm program out of the box today and did the 1st DVD... 1st workout in 1 year... Ouch!! Its a 3 day a week program - next workout is Monday! Weigh in tomorrow...

DAY 5
started off eating well and writing everything down except I started eating the cookies we made the night beforeChat Icon Did abs, legs and ellipictal at the gym.

DAY 6
ate just okay didn't workout at all

DAY 7
same as previous day

I'm thinking I might actually get on the scale tomorrow to see where I'm at. That might make me think twice about sticking little things in my mouth here and there.

UGG! Can't sleep and I've been eating tortilla chips and salsa while sitting on the computerChat Icon

Reading the addicted to diet soda thread of FHF made me remember this.

Nightly me and my 10 yr old have been faithfully doing 50 sit ups, 50 push ups( well she does 50- I do about 25 so far) and 250 jumping jacks. She's my little motivator.

We've done a yoga dvd twice.

DAY 8
I got on the scale and it was the best thing ever because I saw I gained 4lbs over the holidays!!! No more thinking I can eat this little thing here and there because I'm working out. I have to be diligent with writing down what I'm eating to keep on track.

Unfortunately I finished my sons pancakes this morning and didn't eat as well as I had wished. I've decided to slowly start getting rid of all of the "white" products I give them and go with whole grain which will be better for us all.

At the gym I did abs, chest, triceps and interval training on treadmill.

I'd like to lose 15 lbs by February 14, not sure how realistic that is but that's what I'm shooting for.Chat Icon

I'm in too ladies...I'm heavier than I ever been w/ the exception of my pregnancies. From Thanksgiving to New Years' it was a free for all, eating whatever I wanted. Well, the scale was not my friend. I literally gained 12 lbs.

I really want to start the spring off at least 15-20 lbs lighter & ultimately down 35-40lbs lighter.

I do wonder if I should be exercising in front of the kids as an example rather than after they're in bed or early in the am.Chat Icon

Predictably.. I fell right off the wagon.

I haven't been exercising. I've been skipping breakfast, eating snacks and generally being a lazy lout.

TODAY.. I had a fat free smoothie for breakfast.

I will go to the store this weekend and get some better choices for breakfast/lunch. TODAY I will exercise.

And tomorrow I will shovel snow. Evidently.. a LOT of snow!Chat Icon

ETA: Rob took video of me when I was a little (a lot) tipsy on Saturday. I wasn't even embarrassed by my silliness.. I was MORTIFIED by my size. I look like a small planet.Chat Icon
