Are you kidding me??? Most people like darkness when they sleep!!! My husband would be up at like 5am every morning! 
But that is certainly not the only thing wrong with that house!!!

That is really weird. That room must be like a sauna in the summer.
The only thing I can think of is they are the second owners and didn't have the money to demo and put in sheetrock?

The whole house is weird, I live right near that house (it is across the street from an old friend) and the current owners put that greenhouse glass thing in. they redid the whole house to look like that (i didnt realize that was their bedroom though!) and the worst part is, it is right on top of their next door neighbors house-they have no property lefft b/c the made the house too big-can you imagine being able to practically reach out and touch that house! ugh, it is an eyesore!
