the woman with no finger tips commercial
am i the only one who feels like this commerical is on 400 times a day? i cant watch it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is on a lot- but I am kinda glad it is. I gave up smoking 2 months ago and this week has been real tough for some reason. I keep wanting to go smoke but then I think about having nubs for hands.

Her story shocks me ever time I see it.
I didn't realize that could happen...I know about the other effects, Lung Cancer, Strokes and Emphysema.
I watched my Dad Die from emphysema.
Which was Heartbreaking in its self but to have your finger tips amputated is horrible.
I'm very lucky I never smoked.

I HATE! It totally freaks me out. And I also didn't think that this is something hat could happen.
I am currently on at 1 year & 4 months not smoking!!!

For all the girls that quit
It is such a strange commercial compared to the others b/c she looks healthy in a way until you see her fingers. And she talks about it in such a casual way. It definitely gets to me. The worst one IMO to date is the one with the kids exhaling smoke.

it's soooooo gross!!! but I'm kind of glad its on!!! I quit smoking prob. about a year & a half ago (for like the 5th time!!), on and off I smoked for 10 years!! now I'm just working on trying to get DH to quit, so I've been making the Marlboro man watch the nubby woman when the commercial comes on as gross as it is!

DH quit and has been doing pretty well with it. His friend's wife is preggo with #2 and is still smoking. She smoked with #1 pregnancy too. I worry about the baby and hope she will be OK.

its a sad story, but im glad they are using a different approach to get people to stop smoking

yeah it's on all the time- but so was the one with the guy who had the throat surgery! I felt that one was on even more often and you had to listen to his voice all the time. Sooooo sad.

It's on all the time but lets get real, smoking is not why she lost her digits. I am sure she is a diabetic.
One more month for one year not smoking.
