Re: Theme Baby showers
Hmmm, I haven't seen any theme showers (other than a gender theme), but I guess there must be supplies for this.
As for the wishing well, I think most party stores have these. Some bridal supply stores sell baby shower things too--the one I got my invitations from had things for baby showers. You could probably even take a bridal shower wishing well and decorate it with pastel ribbon or storks.

Re: Theme Baby showers
I am sure you can follow any theme by using matching invitations, favors, decorations etc.
Baby shower wishing wells usually get all the small things like bibs, extra nipples, baby lotion, diaper rash cream etc. Or they also do "book" wishing wells, where the guest bring their favorite storybook to start the babies library off for the parents. You can use a hamper, a toy chest, a diaper pail etc. as the actual wishing well. HTH

Re: Theme Baby showers
Oh, I just remembered. I did go to one shower where the bassinet was used as the wishing well.
The book theme is a great idea--they are so $$$ if you buy them all yourself, but not too expensive if you are only buying one, esp. the board books which are great for babies.

Re: Theme Baby showers
Well, I've seen/heard of themes like Little Lamb or Sheep, Ahoy...It's a Boy (Nautical), A teddy bear theme, rubber ducky theme, little star, book/library theme.
I have a friend who rents out party supplies & makes diaper cakes etc. She has a wishing well that's all white. You can choose from an assortment of different flowers to match the color of the party. She also has a big wicker chair.
I can give you her number if you want.

Re: Theme Baby showers
My friend did a baby stroller (PRAM) theme. The cakes you can get for this are adorable. If you are finding out the sex you can do gender specific too like little prince or princess.

Re: Theme Baby showers
For my sisters wishing well I bought the baby a hamper with a lid and had my dad make a little frame so that the lid was elevated. Everyone threw their stuff in there and she was able to use it as a hamper. For my bridal shower my sis took a 32gallon garbage can and decorated it with a "skirt". They were things that both of us eventually needed, didnt spend the $$ on renting a traditional one and they were creative.
