theme for 2nd birthday?
We did the big restaurant party for DS's 1st birthday and I won't do that again. I would like to either bbq or order pizzas at the house, but I want to do something fun for the kids. I know I want to do a petting zoo/pony rides for his bday one year, but I was thinking of holding off until he's 3 so he will hopefully have some memory of it. So, what did you all do for 2nd birthdays. His bday is in fall and I know I could always go with a Halloween theme, but I also want to save that for when he's older. I want to picj something that really gets the kids moving around, not just a theme as far as decorations go.

We did a Finding Nemo theme. Decorations, favors, cake, was all Nemo. That was it. It was a small party at my m-i-l's house.

We're doing Blues Clues since that's really the only show he pays attention to.
You could set up clues and they sell the handy dandy notebooks at Party City so that the kids could try to solve the clues.
