therapy dogs
Are any of your dogs therapy dogs? Ollie befriended a priest in the neighborhood and he said ollie would make a great therapy dog which got my wheels turning and now I'm really interested in training her to be one. Does anyone have any info on how I go about doing this? TIA

Re: therapy dogs
This is the organization I found when I did some research:
Therapy Dog International
There's a link to a brochure that has all the requirements you have to meet to pass the test. We have most of it, but I would wait another year until he's out of adolescent age and during that time, build his skills.
It's not easy, but I know people who have gotten the certification and they are very happy with their programs.
