There are some REALLY nice people in this world!
On the way to Moehgan Sun we discover that I-95 is CLOSED. SO we get off at the nearest exit and basically freak out. This was our anniversary trip that we were looking forward to and we almost didnt make it between snow, sickness and one wicked fight that morning!
So we pull up next to this guy and ask him if he knows how to get back onto 95 but AFTER the closed part of course. He asks where we are going and I told him we are trying to go to MS for our first anniversary ( DH loved that part  ) SO, he tells us to follow him!
We followed him for about an HOUR on all these side streets and off the main roads. He drove fast but always made sure that we were behind him and would slow down to let cars pass him that were trying to get into between us. He got us back on to 95 with only about 20 minutes left to go! Then with a beep and a wave he rode off into the sunset! 
What a nice man!! If it wasnt for him we may have ended up turning around and going home!

See there are still decent people who are just wanting to do the right thing!!! YAY!
I had a similar experience one time and my grandmother is 100% sure that it was really my grandfather who has passed. But she is a sicilian witchy woman (the dreams and things she has are just freaky how they come true)

That's great! I wouldn't have let DH follow him though. I would be to afraid he would have taken us to some creepy place and rob us!
did you hear why it was closed? my boss lives up there and said the police tried to pull a guy over and he began shooting at them, so they closed the road. they also had that light flashing on the side of the road telling drivers to tune into that radio station for a driving advisory, and it explained about the guy and the road closed but told everyone to get out of the car and run!! she said everyone was just turning their cars around and driving the wrong way, towards traffic!!

Yeah I kept telling DH that the guy was going to eat us!  but he didnt!
OMG I didnt hear that - I am glad that we got off at the exit before!

I'm sad to sad that I would have been very skeptical myself. It's a shame we need to think that way these days.

We love MS! We have stayed in teh hotel and LOVE it there too! The rooms are pretty and clean but very expensive. I love the room service and teh spa though!!!
We actually stayed at a hotel called Bellissimo Grande. AMAZING!!!! Rooms start at $79. For $129 ( less than half of what we paid at the casino ) we got a Jacuzzi, two person shower with jets all down teh wall, a flat screen in teh bathroom and bedroom, gorgeous furnishings, a four post bed etc! They have a free limo to and from Foxwoods.
