There is nothing more scary than having to call area hospitals looking for your mom who is 4 hrs late coming home from work and finding out she was in an accident
My mom got into a car accident on the way home from work last night. Car is most likely a total loss. She's head to to in bruises and has a hue hematoma on her arm most likely from the air bag. There were some issues with her cardiac enzymes being elevated but luckily they stabilized.
Thanks to the off-duty NYFD fireman who stopped and stayed with my mom until the paramedics arrived. Also thanks to the Commack volunteer firemen who also helped at the scene.
Why the hospital couldn't call a relative is beyond me. I am still so angry about that.

So sorry that you had to go thru this !
Hope that all goes well with your mom.
We went thru a similar issue with FIL in February.
It's frustrating, but at least your mom is ok !

How frightening!
Sounds like she will be well. I'm glad she had a fireman by her side until more help arrived...he probably helped keep her calm.
 for a speedy recovery.

Holy cow! That is so scary. 
Glad to hear that your mom is okay though. Make sure she takes it easy for the next week!
