For the record, I told the office to only give them to the teacher on a break.
Then I walked out in the hall & saw his class going out for recess
I still think it's so adorable when they call you "Joseph's mom! Joseph's mom!" to get your attention. I was also instructed by his classmate to get his mom's number because he wants a playdate with Joseph. I think he's heard we have a pinball machine in the basement. Joseph wants to go over to Coles because Cole has a huge dog that he wants to play with. Maybe we can just swap kids for the afternoon?

nope, bought them. I learned after the penguin/owl cupcakes not to try anymore. Occasionally I still fool myself into thinking I'm crafty & can do that sort of thing, only to come to my senses mid-project & exclaim "What was I thinking???"

I sent in cookies for Damien's b-day in his backpack
No helicoptering here
ETA: We can only send in store bought food so they can see all the ingredients. It's a rule that is a busy Mom's best friend

Actually in our school you arent allowed to bring in any treats for birthdays!!!! Can you imagine!!!!
And for the record: the only day I bring them up their lunch is on their birthday b/c they want McDonalds as a special treat...the women at the front desk always gives me a hard time...But then again she gives everyone a hard time about everything.

Girl, if you want advice for the day, I LEAVE the house for work at 5:50 am.
Call me after I'm showered, dressed and eating breakfast... I was available at 5:30 am today... where were you after you ran around all night?... sleeping or something
