THermage?

Has anyone had this treatment done? I went for a consult yesterday for my stomach and thought it was prety expensive. Just wondering if anyone has had this done & where you went & what the cost was. I went to the perfect body image (advertised in clipper mag) $$$$.
Any insight is appreciated.

Where did you have a consult? I work for a plastic surgeon's office and we only do Thermage on the face and neck. Velashape is done on the stomach legs, etc.

Velashape (gets rid of cellulite and can take inches of your problem areas) is a series of treatments. Usually you do between 6 to 10 treatments, one or twice a week. Each treatment is $175. It is very popular in our office. Velashape is done by an aesthetician

Theramge is only performed by an MD, and is done only to the face. It stimulates collagen production and tightens up the face. It is like a non surgical face lift. Not everyone is an ideal candidate. It is suited for those people who are not yet ready for a face lift. We have two employees in our practice who did it, and they look great, Results are not immediate and can take 6 months to see the full look. The cost is $3,500 and it is only one treatment.

i got a consult at Perfect Body in Bayshore for 5400 for my stomach (thermage). the Vela i think she said was 39 neg? I didnt think to much about the vela b/c i didnt think it would work. 175 per sessionn i would do....5400- not so much.
