OK...So Slomin's has been here since about 10:30. They sent "Mr Personality" 
He came upstairs from the basement after about 10 minutes of banging, drilling, etc...so I ask him:
"I guess we have a leak??" 
his response:
"I guess." and kept walking to his truck for more tools.
Oh nice!

Yeah..he was "real " nice!!! 
turns out we DID have a leak from one of the pipe joints. i'm soooo glad i was adamant about someone coming out immediately! it probably would have been WORSE at our next fillup!

Ok 1030 isnt that bad how about 1 in the morning??????????????????
yup 1 am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we had a delivery last yr and the boiler wouldnt go on it was freezing outside, no hot water and this was from 4pm when we called them they didnt come till 1 am- I wanted to strangle them!!!!!
edited to say Im glad it worked out and you were on the ball!!!!!

I just signed up with Slomins and Im already regretting it.
The previous owners had an alarm so we transfered it over to us. I made an appt over a month ago to have someone set it up for us. The Appt was for this sat at 1pm. I call at 12:30 to confirm since they never called me. The guy said yes you are one the top of the list, he should be there shortly. Well by 3 DH calls and they claim they said between 1-5. which they didnt. 6 o'clock and still nothing.. can you believe this. I call and they say that he is in your surrounding area and will be there shortly, Well by 7 nothing, I call back and the lady says oh they cancelled your appt... What after I waited all day not even a phone call. And the heat. Im not happy with them either, Supervisors and the sales rep hasnt called me back after 4 messages, The owner of Slomins is going to hear from me know. Sorry for venting
