How could they not think that someone that was pregnant with twins might be put on bed rest early. So now here I am at the tail end of my time with NO leave replacement and a whole bunch of special education children and other children that have special situations going on and if I go out there will be no one that will know about this.

There were 6 of us pregnant in my department. It was down to the last 4. Two were in the 9th grade building and myself and another girl in my building. They hired a leave replacement to do the leave for the girl due in March in the 9th grade building. She was only taking 6 weeks and coming back. They figured that her leave replacement could do the other girl's leave too since she wasn't do until end of May. But how could they not think that a girl carrying twins would probably not be put out early
They were going to hire my student teacher but due to her crying issues they did not. So 2 weeks ago they hired some guy to do my leave. He was supposed to start shadowing me and subbing in the building because I am leaving April 18th. (The other girl in my building is due in Sept). So the girl in the 9th grade building is pulled so the day he is supposed to start shadowing me they send him there. So now I have no leave. I really feel like I am done after this week and I have no replacement. I have a ton of special education children oh and my 9th period class has a state assessment that they have to do a speaking part to at the end of May.
So now they will probably just divide up my classes between the other teacher until the other teacher in the 9th grade center comes back.
This is my second pregnancy and this is the second time that they never got me a leave replacement. I can never just leave knowing that my students are being well taken care of.
I shouldn't care more than the district but obviously I do
