They paved paradise and put up a parking lot...

So this weekend, DH and I drove up to Syracuse for homecoming. It was also my 15th reunion. SU was where we met 19 years ago at a fraternity party, had too much alcohol and you can finish the rest of the story. We spent most of the weekend with his friends, shopped, watched the game at the Dome and ate a lot of wings.

This morning, before we left, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and found some things that were rather unsettling. The fraternity house where we met, was knocked down and made into a multi-level parking lot. My sorority house looks like a mess because my chapter is no longer there and we rent it to another fraternity. My favorite sub-shop is now a Starbucks. The best wing place is no longer in business and there are 4 count them 4 damn pita restaurants on one block. Who the H can eat that much pita?

Well, what can you do? Nothing. But I did get one thing I never got before. And that was a picture with OTTO the SU mascot:
