They really are little sponges
My dd has been telling sandy (the dog) to "move away" whenever she wants to get by and I realize that I say this all the time
Miki is also saying "gimme _____" and DH and I say that alot
we need to start saying "excuse me, Sandy and "can I please have ____"
eta - she also called DH an idiot the other day

they are sooo smart..and  to the idiot thing....of course they also pick up what we don't want them too!
Whenever one of my boys is crying, I always say it's ok chase, or its ok derek....so yesterday Chase was crying, and he turned to chase and said, it's ok baby (he calls him baby) It was sooo sweet!
He also likes to call my dh and I by our names when he hears other people call us by our names!

They really do pick up things quickly! We call DS a parrot because he will repeat everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, we say. It's pretty funny to hear my husband call someone a barnacle-head when he gets annoyed instead of his usual not-nice word.

DS does this to "his" baby too!!
Also, DH calls me hottie . It is really funny/cute when my 2yo yells that across the house when he wants my attention!
