Thin uterus lining?
I began a post a while ago about my non-existant menstrual cycle. Basically, I have not had a period since about March or so..I can't remember exactly. Anyway, my doctor figured out that I have not been ovulating because the lining of my uterus is on the thin side but she said there were plenty of eggs & a normal estrogen level. She is going to provide me some type of pill to take to jump start my period when I am ready to conceive.
Does anyone have this problem? How will a fetus grow to 9 months if the lining is thin? I don't know anything about this right now.. I have to read up this weekend.

Re: Thin uterus lining?
this may be a good topic to post in pregnancy - there may be a lot more help there with it.....
you may wind up chatting with some girls who have been through that and can give you lots of hope!

Re: Thin uterus lining?
The pill she is talking about is Provera. That will jump start your period. However, I'd be concerned that you have not had a period since March and think you should have further testing done to rule out PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which is a main cause for not ovulating.
Having a thin uterine lining has nothing to do with whether or not you ovulate.
