so i'm pregnant with my second, my first is a 7yr old girl.. i took her to the circus this past Saturday at nassau coliseum, i was chaperoning a field trip for my job..

funny thing happened at the circus that kind of reminded me that yep.. i'm a mom..

you know how every once in awhile you'll hear about animals going wild at the circus? well we were in the cheap seats.. WAY UP TOP.. and i'm sitting there planning escape routes in case one of the lions got out.. i had set up all of my bags on one chair, made sure my keys and identifying info was all in one bag, my daughter on the other.. i had it set in my head that if one of the lions went crazy and ran into the audience i could grab my 7 yr old with my right hand, my bag with my left hand and make it down the stairs to the left because there were too many children to the right of me.. now fortunately none of the animals went crazy. but let me tell you.. i for one was prepared...

later i was thinking to myself about it and thought.. geesh Mina.. you're SUCH A MOM.. Chat Icon Chat Icon
