Think DD might be constipated (maybe TMI)

For the past week or so she would have accidents in her underwear, but not bad ones, more like ltitle stains but than wouldnt go to the bathroom.

Now I noticed she hasnt really gone in about 4 days.

My mom had her yesterday and said she went but it was little hard pellets Chat Icon Is there anything I can do? Besides prune juice??

DS was constipated for a month when he was a baby. The doctor has us try Little Tummies oral baby laxatives, prune juice, water, and then finally Fleet Baby Lax suppositories. It's liquid that you shoot up there Chat Icon but it worked really fast.

I just spoke to the ped about this yesterday. Your dd is a little older (ds is 15 mo) but he said to avoid rice, apples & bananas & give a lot of "p" fruits like pears, peaches, etc & also give beans & foods with fiber. HTH

ETA: You can also give a little Miralax or other stool softener

DD is almost 2 and is always extremely constipated. Her ped had me give her Miralax for a few weeks and then switch to putting benefiber in her juice.

I would try all the p foods as another poster mentioned, and also make sure she's getting plenty of fluids. That helps move things along too.

We used Fleet baby suppositories once or twice when he was really constipated--DS had problems with this when he was on one type of formula. You shouldn't use them often, but they do work well for an odd bout of constipation. Just don't use too much.
