Think I am done with sleepovers!
The girls were soooooo hyper (especially my dd) and they were up until 3am and woke at 6am!!! The house was TRASHED too when I woke up at 2:30 to see what was going on!! I cleaned my dd's room 3 times of ripped up magazines as it was too dangerous with them running in and out all night!

I "dread" sleep overs!!! But, I allow them once in a while. As a matter of fact, my DD is having one next month for her tenth birthday. However, I told her only 5 friends. How many girls did you have???

We had 4 girls and then with my dd it was 5. My house is too small for this as they slept all over!

We have about 1 per month..My girls are twins (8 years old) so we wind up with 4 girls all together. There are a couple a girls that I prefer not to sleepover together b/c when paired with my girls things are hectic...If they do not behave themselves I do not allow a sleepover the following month. It seems to work out well. Basically my rule is that I dont care what time they go to bed but I dont want to see or hear anyone after 11pm...if I have to give more than 1 warning there will be no sleepover next month. So far Ive only had to do that once...the girls and their friends know the rules and are pretty good about them.

I tried to be good about the time (as one of the mothers said her sleepovers last until 5am!!) but with my son not being able to sleep, I could not take it anymore at 3am and my dh told them to be quiet.
