Has anyone ever heard of this? I got a brochure in the mail as they just opened in Wantagh.
Is it basically the same as Gymboree? Better? Worse? I've never heard of it before -- but then again, this is ALL new to me!

Re: Thinkertots
I signed my 2 year old up for the Mommy and Me Music class. I heard great things about the program from a gf who took her DD to the one in Bayside, so we'll give it a shot.
It's about $20 for a 45-minute class. Definitely not cheap, but not the worst I've seen either.
ETA: The Wantagh store is small, only 12 kids per class, one class at a time. I like the fact that it's all brand new b/c old stuff skeeves me.

Re: Thinkertots
I agree these places are so over charged, and you can duplicate a lot of what they do it at home.
I think they are best for kids 1+...Or walkers....
But I can understand the social aspect of it ( meeting new parents, getting out of the house etc>)

Re: Thinkertots
we went to the Open House in Wantagh today and signed DD up for a class... I didn't think the price was so bad...$339 for 19 weeks...less than 20 per class which is cheaper than what I paid for music together...
