Thinking forward to Spring.....Need rec for someone to install a patio
So, DH and I would like to have a brick patio put in our backyard. In doing so, our backyard will need to be re-graded.
Any recommendations of companies that can do both? We are in central suffolk/north shore near PJ.
I found these on a thread from last summer, but no one posted pictures of a finished product/review of the companies.
Who is Fernando?
Above All Masonry?
Green View Landscaping?
D'Alessandro and Son?
Curb Appeal Masonry?
Manny Construction?
Scanapico Brothers?
Truly's Contracting Corp?
Lake Grove Land Design?

Fernando hands down! He did our drive way, front walk way and huge backyard patio.
They were professional, competitively priced and did an excellent job.

Does he charge by square footage or project? Would you be willing to share how much he priced your project and approx how many sq footage this was?

J + K masonry in centereach. Last year they did our patio and front stoop. Right now we have them doing stone facing. They do great work and are most reasonably priced. We got many quotes. FM me for more info.

Do you have any photos? Can you share cost? How many days/weeks did they need?

Re: Thinking forward to Spring.....Need rec for someone to install a patio
D'Alessandro and Son is fantastic. We used them last spring for our driveway, sidewalk, paver path, retaining wall, drywell, etc. The price was amazing and the did a wonderful job. We actually had them come back to help us with a cement path on the side of our house because we had water issues this summer/fall.
DH's parents used them to re-do the pavers around their pool, our best friends used them for their driveway and then both of them recommended them. Everyone was happy with their work.
Feel free to FM me if you want more info!d'alessandro

Re: Thinking forward to Spring.....Need rec for someone to install a patio
Hi Betsy! We didn't have a patio done, but we had our walkways done by Fernando - Doctor Pavers. He's actually a vendor on here now - http://www.lifamilies.com/company/15193.html
Our walkways aren't pavers - instead we did precast slate - LOVE!

We used Manny Construction and couldn't be happier. They worked their asses off and did a great job. We also needed the patio graded away from the house because of flooding issues. I'm sure he would do the whole yard if that's what you need.

Re: Thinking forward to Spring.....Need rec for someone to install a patio
We had a major job done. We used a seperate companies for grading and pavers.
grading:
Rayco Restoration & Construction PO Box 2271, St James, NY (888) 395-7767
Pavers: http://www.decobrick.net/ (they also did all the stamped comcrete patios and sidewalks at our old house. A++++)
I have to post before and afters, first I need to make room on my harddrive for the photos.
