Third tri ladies: Does it hurt to sit?

I know this sounds wierd but all day today I have been so uncomfortable sitting. I actually have to put seat in car in reclining position to relieve the pressure or sit off edge of chair. Is this normal. I have a doc appt tomorrow. Contraction are present but nothing regular, and cramping is present with the sharp shooting "Knife" pains.

OMG yes! I was just thinking the same thing as I sit here. everything is so uncomfortableChat Icon

BTW you described my symptoms exactly. When I'm at work I sit at the edge of my chair and try to keep my legs straight, but it's so uncomfortable.

Yes, almost every position hurts for me at this point! The baby puts a lot of pressure on you down below.

Definately! As soon as Chat Icon turned head down at 35.5 weeks, it became so uncomfortable to sit, stand, walk, lay down, etc...

Actually the only truly semi-comfortable place to sit is on the toilet...Chat Icon

I said to DH last night-- It feels like I rode a horse, got kicked repeatedly in the crotch and had someone take a sledgehammer to my lower back, and now I am bruised from all of those things.

Yeah, love it.
