The people we bought our house from were also big butt heads- it made it SO much more frustrating!! After we closed I told DH i never wanted to buy another house again!

DH thinks that maybe when we make more $$$ we will move! I just want to pick one place and stay...I cannot deal with this again!

I had a really tough time during the home buying process. Everyone kept telling me that it was supposed to be fun. FUN was looking at all different houses but NO FUN was the ENTIRE rest of the process, for me at least.

OMG I am having the same experience...Have Fun with it...I am told when they see my stressed out face.
Yes casually looking at open houes was fun....now we are down to the nitty gritty process and things are getting serious......NOT FUN!

We had our house built and everyone told us oh how easy we would have it because we can pick what we want. WRONG!!
Their are so many builders, so many options and so many things to take into consideration. After a while every floor plan looked the same, every model looked the same and it just became so overwhelming. Even now when I drive somewhere I can tell exactly which builder built which house.

yup and i thought it was bad! this is sooooooooo much more stressful! and we just got married in march so the fact that we are so new to the marriage thing and than add this .....i have my mini breakdowns every so often the other night was a bad one i didnt talk to dh for a couple of hours ....ppl definitely need shut it with the "have fun" bc like everyone said actually looking at the houses was fun but the process itself $UCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!

It's definitely stressful - which is why I am glad I went with a house that I can see myself living in forever, if need be. But, I feel like its one of those things that in 5-10 years from now you'll forget how crazy the whole process was, how hard the moving was...etc. etc.

Absolutely! Wedding planning was a breeze compared to the house buying process.
It is definitely stressful and draining. Especially when you are newly married and getting used to the married thing and add the house stress on top of it. But trust me it gets better and easier!
