Thank you for sharing. I suffered three losses after I already had my two kids and the most painful thing was having people say to me " but you have to be thankful for the two healthy children you have" or "it would be worse if you had no kids"..but the simple truth is it didn't matter and it actually heightened the pain for me as I knew what it felt like to carry my kids to full term, I knew the amazing wonder and pain of child birth, I knew the intense feeling of seeing my baby for the first time and those first few weeks or lack of sleep and the wonderment of every little sound they made, I knew the feeling of unconditional love and like any drug I wanted to feel that love again and I couldn't I am nearly three years on from my third loss and I am still in pain and still pray for another child to find its way into our family.

Beautiful. Made me cry. I don't have any children, but even if I did, the pain of my 2 losses, what could have been, can never totally go away you just learn to live with it. I am so glad she got to have a family. It gives me hope.

yes melissa describes what we all can sometimes have trouble putting into words. peoples comments do sting when they dont mean to and all of our experiences are different whether we have had children or not we all have broken hearts from our losses. im going to message her tonight and invite her to the board maybe she can find a little comfort with you ladies as i have.
