this is not fair
My mom just called to tell me that I got a letter from the Nassau county Traffic and parking violations delinquency center
so I made her open the letter and it says DH got a parking ticket on March 21st (3 days after the wedding) so I called him and he said he didnt get a ticket
then I called NCTPV and they said even though he never got the ticket that he still has to pay the late charge
That isnt fair he never got the ticket in the first place

why does he have to pay the late charges if he never go thte ticket. that doesn tmake any sense. did you question it any further?

the woman said that the ticket was put on his windsheild and I told her it must have flew off because he didnt get it
she said well he still parked there so he has to pay the late charge

That really *****... and i'm not saying that he lied, i'm sure he didn't, but how easy would it be then for anyone to say "I didn't get the ticket" just to get out of a late fee.
Sorry it happened though

Obviously DH didnt know it was NO PARKING or he wouldnt have parked there
