This keeps escalating... Bathroom-- mini-remodel.
Give it to me straight, how much is it to re-tile (just the shower area), replace toilet, bathtub and a vanity. I know the materials aren't much-- but it's the labor.
Just a ballpark since obviously all projects are unique.

Ours was about $6000, and we painted the walls ourselves.

I agree with this range. It will be at the higher end or more if you pick fancy tiles. They can get REALLY expensive.

We just priced this out because we needed work done in our upstairs bath before arrives.
Honestly, in the end, for it was going to cost to only do what needed to be done, it just made more sense to just redo the entire bathroom (gut and replace everything) and the difference in price was SO minimal in the grand scheme of things (less than a $1k difference).

im thinkking of wainscotting the walls instead of tiles except for the shower, and then use the extra cash on fixtures,

Would he come to Westchester? We have a bunch of smaller projects we are talking to contractors about.

Re: This keeps escalating... Bathroom-- mini-remodel.
you can find a handyman who can do that all with references labor can be 2K-4K tops. Don't go for big companies because you are paying for overhead. The only thing is some handyman's are not insured and typically they are the 2K range ones.

Re: This keeps escalating... Bathroom-- mini-remodel.
We hired a handyman to tile our bathroom and replace toilet and vanity, really reasonable like less than $1,000

About 10,000 (but anywhere from 9000-15000) depending on the materials and contractor.
