This kid is like a bottomless pit!
I upped Ava to 3.5 ounces of BM over the weekend, and now she wants to eat every 2.5 hours. Even then, I fed her at 3:30, then by 4:30 her belly was growling, so I gave her another ounce, and she fell right to sleep, but then she was up AGAIN at 5:30 to eat, so I gave her another bottle. should I try 4oz at a time???

I would start giving 4 ounces - i remember my daughter going through a growth spurt at that time - all of a sudden - her appetite grew and she would drink like crazy!

could that be why she's sleeping so much, too? would a growth spurt do that?

Andrew is going through a huge growth spurt. He is up to 7 ounces and only 7 weeks old

Absolutely - at least in my Daughter's case it did. THe increase in formula started to make her more content and she would sleep longer periods of time. I was certain this was because of a growth spurt also - her body is working hard and growing and she needs her sleep to create more energy.
