This kid seriously won't sleep
I have no idea what to do- I have read all the books, tried everything. At first it was just naps, but now she wakes up 6 or 7 times a night too. Right now she is crying in her crib, since she won't nap and I want her at least to stay in there for an hour.
I am seriously losing it

Re: This kid seriously won't sleep
I'm sure you've tried, but did you try swaddling? It took Matteo a little to get used to but once he did, it was a HUGE help for us to get him to sleep.
ETA: Disregard my post! I just realized she's older!!!! Instead just sending you some vibes.

Re: This kid seriously won't sleep
Did you try to put a few stuffed animals in her crib? Sometimes DD plays then gets tired and falls asleep. Hopefully it's teething that is doing this to her.

Re: This kid seriously won't sleep
we went thru a Long phase like this, and I found that taking him outside (ok today is not a good day) and getting him tired really helped...but only after what seemed like months of not napping. I hope it passes quikcly for yoU!

Re: This kid seriously won't sleep
Do you have a baby swing? It used to be the only place my DD would sleep if she wasn't sleeping with/on me. I also found that the sound of the vacuum soothed her and as soon as she heard it she would stop crying and fall asleep.

Thanks for the idea- we are in CA so I just took her for a long walk and finally she is sleeping. I am trying not to rely on this method, and get her to sleep on her own but it just doesn't work.

Re: This kid seriously won't sleep
Thanks everyone for all of your tips- I am just so worried- she was such a great sleeper and now she is slowly getting worse and worse. It was fine when she wasn't napping great and sleeping well at night, but now with the getting up every two hours all night I have had it.
Pray tonight its better I hope this is just teething.
