Medically...is it possible that she could have had an abortion at the end of December and then be pregnant again? I thought you had to wait 2 weeks before you could have sex.

I know exactly how you feel, and it tears me apart as well. I know someone who had a baby last year after MULTIPLE abortions. My sisters friend is also PG after having an abortion a few years ago.

Honestly, I feel like she's sick in the head and could lying about this.. or lying about the abortion. How could you have an abortion at the end of Dec and already know you are pg again... makes no sense!

Not trying to make assumptions but maybe she is one of those people that needs attention and by saying she was having an abortion didn't give her the attention that she needed so instead of going through with it she is telling people she did and that this "new" pregnancy is the same one. KWIM?
But I can't understand why someone would say that they are having an abortion and then a month later say they are pregnant again and decided to keep it this time...that is certainly not the type of attention that I would want.
But who am I to judge or assume anything.

it could be possibly, depending on when she had the abortion..........the end of december could be before Christmas, for example. And then she could have ovulated again the second week of January............
i really hope she's not lying, because that makes the story 10 times sicker. Is this person someone that you are forced to be around, or can you distance yourself from her? TTC is stressful enough, and it doesn't make it any easier when you have someone like this around you. JMO

I definitely KWYM... your assumptions are the same exact ones that DH and I have. It's just sickening. Whatever the case may be, I just don't understand why she feels the need to tell me about it! I mean, we aren't even close, and she does know my situation. Who knows...

Yes it is medically possible. But it is one of those things that they strongly discourage. It happened to one of my bf from high school. Not to include after you have a baby you aren't suppose to have sex for six weeks but my SIL was announcing at week 8 she was pregnant again!!!!!!!!!! All about ovulation and fertilization!!
