This may be a stupid question about sectionals but....
...what's the difference between a 3 piece modular and a 5 piece modular sectional? (It would probably help if I knew what a modular was.)
THIS SECTIONAL comes in a 3 piece and a 5 piece. 5 piece is more expensive. I'm confused.

The five piece comes with two additional pieces and is larger. Unfortunately, the pictures they use are the same for each. That's annoying!

5 is 5 pieces 3 is 3 pieces. 5 will be larger then the 3 piece. do they provide overall measurments? that should help you in decding if you can fit the 5 piece.

3 piece says 115"W x 115"D x 27"H
5 piece says 148"W x 115"D x 27"H
so the 5 piece is 33 inches longer. very dumb it's the same pic for both!

I would call though to see what the 5th piece is.. that extra 33 inches can't be 2 pieces, maybe the 5th is an ottoman or something? Their description is way too vague
