This may sound weird, but do I let DD play
since she has a fever and congestion? She seems to want to play with her toys and everything... or should I make her rest? (I know, almost impossible...)

when Bella is sick I let her do what she feels like, she may tire more easily...and just don't let her run around crazy (as you said, almost impossible)

Let her play! If she seems into playing then thats a good sign that she isn't feeling too horrible..
She'll give you the cues when she doesn't want to play anymore and just wants to rest. It's great she's eager to play with her toys

I do the same...Whatever he feels like doing I'll let him do because he's a cranky pants when he's sick so whatever makes him happy.
