This morning was my last Breast Feeding....
I am proud that I did 8 months (not exclusively) but I am so busy with work - (full time) that I had to supplement months ago and my milk diminished, I tried pumping...Only getting 1 oz.
I am a little sad about it, it was beautiful bonding, but the dr. wanted me to choose now because I was really only
BF 1x a day and the mini-pill wasn't going to be too effective with such little BF - and that scared me

First off, 
Secondly, WHAT DO YOU MEAN ABOUT THE MINI PILL NOT BEING EFFECTIVE? (sorry, the screaming is intentional!) I only BF twice a day and I was never told it is not effective unless you BF exclusivly.

Felice - I would call your Dr. - my dd did not take much at all, so it was like 5 min. 1x a day - so the dr. said that it would be a good idea to switch to the regular pill.
Maybe 2x a day is fine - it probably is - I wasn't even getting much out of pumping - I would call just for peace of mind.

A very dumb questions here BUT what is the mini pill? Is that some mild birth control? I never really heard of it.

It is a progesterone only pill. A lot of BF moms take it because it doesn't interfere with your milk supply but it is less effective than regular BCP so it's important to take it the same time everyday.
