This stage is TOUGH
Mikayla hits when she does not get her way, does NOT listen at all. I do not want her in timeout all the time so I use those only for hitting out of anger and the like
But...she is SO strong willed, it is amazing

She is trying to see how far she can go.
Hang on! I know it's hard. I remember from my young brother and sister. You don't want to be the bad guy all the time but you have to say no.

Amazing isn't it. Something so small with so much will......makes you afraid for the teenage years huh 
Just be consistent in whatever you do - its so hard but I find it works best.

Stephanie - a time out means time out from what she wants.... it doesn't have to be in a chair. If she wants your attention, and she isn't listening - walking away still counts as a time out!
