This story made me so sad (somewhat sensitive topic)
so I was watching this show called, "I survived" (LOVE this show) and there was this story about a deranged man who entered a elementary school with a machete (sp)...the principle went up to him to see if he needed help with something and he attaked her
he then went into the kindergarten class and began hitting the kids with the back of the machete 
the teacher told the kids to run for safety but since they are always told not to run, they were not sure what to do.
some ran into the halls, some hid under the desks and some (this was the part that made me  ) clung to their teacher....ugh, I could not help but to picture miki in that situation....so sad, you just never know...are our kids safe ANYWHERE?????
turns out, none of the kids were severly injured but the principal was in trying to protect the kids

the principle tackled him, got the weapon from him and subdued him until the cops came and arrested him

OMG I saw this one. I love this show but that was one that made me sob. Dh was distrubed by it as well. but the good thing is none of the kids were severly injured thank god. You just never know!!!!!

That is so horrible!! But what an amazing principal. There are some sick people in this world.

 It is heartbreaking to imagine ANYONE in that situation, let alone helpless and frightened children. What kind of a sick, sick individual would ever consider this??!!?!?!!!

I didn't see that episode, but that show scares the crap out of me. Everytime I see it's on, I vow to not watch it, but somehow I am compelled to keep watching it! The people on that show are so brave for having survived some horrific situations.. lost at sea, stranded in an ice storm, kidnapped and assaulted...I just picture myself going through it, and have no idea how they kept going, but I guess you just do!!
ANYTHING involving children, oh man, I would be sobbing! Glad they are all ok.
