Not for me, I liked being mindless. You don't need a mind to drink coffee. And the coffee in the office isn't so great because someone drank all the milk and its instant. And its hard and I don't know this project and its very difficult and I used to be the one who knew everything and kept the team going and now the team is HUGE and I don't know everything etc etc and I miss my gorgeous boy...

Re: This working thing...

I make good predictions... see? I told you the first day would be full of endorphins and adrenaline, but the second or third day, reality would kick in HARD and you'd find yourself feeling sad. Don't worry, and don't think it's your ineptitude at all. It's just the transition from being at home with a baby to working with adults - it's HARD. VERY HARD. But, I promise, give it a few weeks, and you'll hit your groove and you'll find satisfaction at work, AND at home with your son Chat Icon

Re: This working thing...

It took a while to get back in the swing of things, but now I'm used to it. I would rather be home though.

I can't imagine how rough it is on you. Being home for 13 months is a long time. I hope it gets better soon! Chat Icon
