Thong sandals - toe irritation?
So every few years I see a cute pair of thong sandals, buy them, wear them for a few hours and stop because of the toe irritation factor.
Now that I have plantar fascitis and need arch support, most sandals are only the thong type. So I'm struggling. I wore them for 4 hours shopping today and the whole area is inflammed and there is some broken skin.
Any tips, tricks on how to make them more comfortable? If I keep on wearing them now even though they hurt me will my foot eventually get used to it and I won't notice?
TIA!

I can't wear thong sandals either for that reason. Maybe some moleskin would help? I'm sure you'll eventually get used to it - I pretty much get a blister from every pair of shoes I own when I first start to wear them.

I would build up to wearing them out and about. Wear them for an hour at home for a week. Then graduate. I have to do this every summer with my summer shoes.
